Sifting

Powder sifting and screening with a range of screen sizes — as a standalone service or combined with our blending, filling, and packaging.

Powder processing equipment at Great Lakes Toll

Dry powders don't always arrive production-ready. Lumps from storage and shipping, oversize particles, and stray material can cause inconsistent fills, poor mixes, and packaging headaches. Our sifting service screens your powder so what goes into the blender — or into the pouch — is clean and consistent.

Various screen sizes

We can run a range of screen sizes and match the mesh to your powder and your spec. Tell us the particle size you need to hold — or send us the problem you're trying to solve — and we'll confirm whether our screening setup is a fit for your material.

Sized for practical batches

Our screening operation is built for small and mid-size batches rather than high-volume continuous throughput. That makes it a strong fit for test runs, specialty powders, and production runs in the range most of our blending and pouch filling customers actually need. If your project is larger, tell us the quantities and we'll give you a straight answer on fit and timing.

One facility, start to finish

Sifting is most valuable when it's part of the flow: screen the powder, blend it, fill it, and pack it without extra freight and handoffs between vendors. We can quote sifting on its own or as a step inside a full blend-fill-pack project.
